Sacramento Police Department detectives are seeking the community’s assistance to help identify two suspects responsible for a robbery that occurred at a local business. Today, investigators are releasing security camera footage from the robbery, and still shot photos of the suspects, in the hopes that someone will recognize the individuals involved in the incident.

On February 14, 2020, at approximately 9:00 p.m., two suspects entered a business located in the 2800 block of Del Paso Road. The suspects attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise. A private security guard attempted to stop the suspects from leaving with the items. The suspects punched the security guard numerous times and fled outside.

The security guard continued to follow the suspects, outside of the store, where they continued to assault the security guard. The guard sustained moderate injury from the assault and was transported to a local hospital.

The suspects were described to be a male, Hispanic, in their late teens or early twenties. One suspect was described as being 5’8 – 5’10, wearing a red shirt with black sleeves and “Champion” written on the front. The suspect also has a “Z” tattoo on his right arm.

The other suspect is described as being 5’6 – 5’8, wearing a black sweater with the Pittsburgh Steelers logo, and gray sweatpants. They both fled in a black sedan.
