On Wednesday, October 23, 2019 around 9:27 p.m., CAL FIRE responded to the area of John Kincade Road and Burned Mountain Road, northeast of Geyserville (Sonoma County) for a vegetation fire. They assigned the incident name of Kincade Fire.

This was just the first night of yet another infamous California conflagration.

The Kincade Fire was declared extinguished on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 after burning through 77,758 acres, damaging 60 structures of various types, destroying 374 structures of various types, and injuring four, including firefighters and civilians.
