SHOOTING SCENE

Officers responded to the area regarding a shooting.  Officers located a victim who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound during a confrontation with the suspect.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for the injury. 

Officers conducted a preliminary investigation and were eventually able to locate a suspect vehicle in the area of 7600 Bellini Way.

PURSUIT / CRASH / STANDOFF SCENE

Officers attempted an enforcement stop on the vehicle, and the suspect fled immediately.  Officers initiated a vehicle pursuit.  The pursuit ended after a collision with a CHP vehicle.  The CHP officer was uninjured.  The suspect was taken into custody and sustained moderate injuries.  The suspect was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance and will be booked at Main Jail.
