Two Adults Found Dead Inside Home - South Sacramento

On Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at approximately 9:50 p.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 6800 block of Tranquility Drive regarding a 911 hang up call.

Responding officers arrived and located a male adult and female adult deceased inside a residence. Officers conducted an initial canvas of the area for witnesses and evidence. Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators have been called to the scene to take over the investigation. Based on preliminary information related to this investigation, detectives believe this is an isolated incident and there is no current threat to our community.

The identity of both adults will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office once next of kin has been notified.

The Sacramento Police Department encourages any witnesses with information related to this investigation to contact the dispatch center at (916) 808-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Witnesses may also submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
