Just before midnight today, Sacramento Metro Fire Department and California Highway Patrol were dispatched to reports of a wreck on westbound Interstate 80, just east of Greenback Lane.
When crews arrived they found a semi fuel tanker with double trailers, and a Honda Passport SUV, wrecked on the right hand shoulder.
CHP reports that the tanker was empty. The SUV rolled and hit a pole.
CHP was also reporting minor injuries.
The incident was cleared around 3 a.m.
