3800 block of Innovator Drive, Natomas Crossing
Saturday, November 18, 2018 at 8:30 p.m.
Officers responded to a business in the area regarding a car burglary. When they arrived, they determined the victim had caught the suspect inside their vehicle. The suspect ran and jumped into a nearby vehicle. The victim attempted to stop the suspect vehicle and was injured in the process. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect vehicle fled the scene. Officers canvassed the area and took a report.
