California Highway Patrol officers responded to the intersection of Stockton Blvd. and Orange Ave. for a reported multi-vehicle crash.
When units arrived, they found multiple vehicles involved with damage. One of the vehicles was blocking Stockton Blvd. and had lost part of it's front axle.
Metro Fire responded to the scene to check on any patients.
Stockton Blvd. was closed for a short period of time until CHP pushed the vehicles out of the road and tow trucks arrived.
Sacramento Sheriff assisted with road closures.
