SHOOTING INVESTIGATION
Bilby road at Willard Parkway, Elk Grove
Friday, September 21, 2018 at 8:59 p.m.
Desmon Drummond, a black, male, adult (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle and the victim was the driver of another vehicle. Both vehicles were stopped at an intersection. Drummond fired a single gunshot at the victim’s vehicle striking the vehicle in the door. The victim was not injured. The victim drove off and contacted police. Officers responded and located Drummond ’s vehicle parked at his residence. In plain view, officers observed a shell casing in Drummond ’s vehicle. Drummond was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
