Rollover Crash Blocks Franklin Blvd 1

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A major South Sacramento roadway was shut down after a rollover vehicle collision this morning.

Around 10:50 a.m., Sacramento police officers and paramedics responded to the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and 38th Avenue. Callers had reported a two-vehicle crash with one vehicle that had rolled over.

When crews arrived, they found the crash as reported with two vehicles involved, with one of the vehicles overturned. The crash was blocking the insection. Additional officers responded and blocked northbound and southbound Franklin Boulevard.

Three occupants inside the rolled over vehicle were safely extricated by firefighters. All parties involved in the crash only had complaints of pain, no other major injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
