On Sunday, August 27, 2017 at approximately, 2:15 a.m. officers from the Sacramento Police Department were called to the area of 12th Street and K Street for a male subject in his late 30’s, who was bleeding and in need of medical aid. Investigators later received information leading them to believe the suspect had been assaulted.

Investigators have developed additional information that a party bus was parked in the immediate area of K Street and 12th Street between 1:57 a.m. and 2:12 a.m. Detectives are looking to speak with anybody on that bus that may have witnessed the assault. A video clip and a photograph of the party bus has been attached.
The Sacramento Police Department encourages any witnesses with information regarding this assault to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
