17-233516 (Attempt Kidnapping): 1500 block of Q St at 5:57pm.
A suspicious subject entered the children’s play area at a nearby park. The subject approached the complainant and his small child inquiring if the child belonged to him. The father left the area with his son with the suspect following close behind. The suspect attempted to grab the child during this time. Police arrived and located the suspect nearby. After further investigation, the suspect was booked for stalking, attempt kidnapping, and violation of his parole.
