SACRAMENTO, Calif. – An investigation is underway into a South Land Park homicide that left four people dead.

Around 7:00 Thursday morning, Sacramento police officers responded for a welfare check at a home on the 1100 block of 35th Avenue in the South Land Park neighborhood.

When officers entered the home, they found four deceased subjects inside.

A homicide investigation has been started by detectives. Police say that they have detained the suspect in San Francisco.

The cause of death was not immediately known. The names of the victims will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner.
