SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A house fire in North Sacramento was quickly extinguished by firefighters overnight.
Around 10:50 Tuesday night, firefighters responded to a reported house fire on Marysville Boulevard near Acacia Avenue.
When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke showing from the house. Upon further investigation, it was determined to be a working attic fire.
Firefighters made a quick attack on the fire, and were able to contain the fire to the attic, saving the rest of the home. By 11:30 PM some crews were starting to leave the scene.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Sacramento Fire Department.
