SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Four lanes of Interstate 5 northbound are blocked in Natomas after a four vehicle crash.
Just before 11:50 Sunday night, authorities responded to northbound Interstate 5 northbound of Arena Boulevard for a multi-vehicle collision.
When units arrived they found four vehicles that had been involved in a collision. The collision caused four of the five lanes to be blocked. Southbound traffic was not affected by the crash.
Paramedics arrived including two ambulances to the scene to check for any injuries and transport any patients needing further medical attention. The extent of any injuries was not immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol. As of posting, multiple lanes have been shut down for the investigation and to allow room for tow trucks to arrive and remove the vehicles.
