SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a person shot in Sunday afternoon in a south Sacramento neighborhood.
Sometime around 2:30 Sunday afternoon, Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of 44th Street and 42nd Avenue for a report of a person who had just been shot.
When deputies arrived, they found one victim with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived and transported the to a local area hospital for treatment. The extent of injuries to the victim were unknown at the time of posting.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s detectives and Gang Unit are investigating the shooting.
