SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Officers investigated a person shot Sunday afternoon near a park in south Sacramento.
Around 1:55 Sunday afternoon, Sacramento police officers responded to the 7300 block of 17th Avenue after reports came in of a person shot.
Officers arrived and determined that one person had been shot and self-transported themselves to a local area hospital. The victim was reported to have non-life threatening injuries.
At this time, police do not have any suspects in custody.
