ELK GROVE, Calif. – Police officers are investigating shots fired at a 16-year-old’s birthday party in Elk Grove.
Just before 8:40 Saturday night, Elk Grove police officers responded to reports of shots fired at the Pavilions located in Elk Grove Regional Park. Callers reported hearing multiple gunshots, and an additional caller at the location reported shots fired at an event held at the park.
Police officers responded to the park and established a perimeter around where the shots were fired for their investigation.
A suspect description was not available at the time of posting.
