SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A fire broke out at a South Sacramento residence Saturday evening.

Just after 6:15 Saturday evening, firefighters responded to a residence on 24th Avenue near 36th Street in South Sacramento.

When firefighters arrived, they found smoke and fire showing from the rear portion of the residence. A quick fire attack was taken, with firefighters extinguishing the fire within a matter of minutes.

Fire investigators will be looking into what caused the fire. There were no reported injuries.
