SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) – Three people were displaced after their home caught fire Sunday afternoon.

Just after 1:50 Sunday afternoon, firefighters were dispatched to a residential structure fire on the 5900 block of Stallon Way in South Sacramento.

When firefighters arrived, they found visible flames showing from an upstairs bedroom of a two-story house. Crews quickly made their way into the residence, attacking the fire and gaining a knockdown within a matter of minutes.

The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of posting. According to incident radio traffic, three residents were displaced by the fire, and will receive assistance from the American Red Cross.

The primary agency was the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, with assistance from the Sacramento Fire Department.
