ELK GROVE, Calif. – Police are looking for a person suspected in a Monday afternoon bank robbery in Elk Grove.

Police state that around 3:07 Monday afternoon, the suspect entered the US Bank branch at 9230 Elk Grove Florin Road and approached a teller. The suspect told the teller that he was there to rob the bank, and demanded money. The teller, fearing for his safety, complied with the bank robber and gave an undisclosed amount of cash. The bank robber then exited the bank and was last seen walking southbound from the location.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, approximately 30 to 40 years old, six feet one inches tall, and 150 pounds. The suspect was wearing a dark colored hood, sunglasses, a white mask, and a full length jumpsuit with yellow safety stripes. No weapons were displayed during the robbery.

According to police radio reports, detectives located a mask behind the building that the suspect may have been wearing.
