SACRAMENTO – Police are seeking the public’s help after a male was found deceased inside a camping trailer in south Sacramento on Friday.

On Friday, March 18, 2016 at 5:28 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 6900 block of 27th Street regarding a deceased male.

When officers arrived on scene, it was determined a resident located an unresponsive, male adult victim lying inside a camping trailer parked on the property. The Sacramento Fire Department responded and pronounced the victim deceased. The Coroner Investigator was requested to the location and during the preliminary examination; trauma to the victim’s head was located.

Homicide detectives along with Crime Scene Investigators were summoned to the scene to begin collecting evidence, and canvassing the area.

The investigation continues to be active and no arrests have been made. Investigators are asking for the community’s help for any information pertaining to this homicide. The identity of the victim is pending the coroner’s examination.
