SACRAMENTO, CA – Firefighters responded to a report of a U-Haul-type moving van on fire in South Sacramento early Saturday morning.

Reports of the moving van fire and an “explosion” came in around 2:15 early Saturday morning. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a fully engulfed moving fan on a residential street. A quick fire attack was initiated, knocking down the flames within a few minutes.

The California Highway Patrol responded to investigate the fire. At the time of posting, the cause of the fire was unknown.
