SACRAMENTO, CA – An investigation is underway in South Sacramento after a person was stabbed Wednesday evening.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded around 7:25 Wednesday evening to the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and 45th Avenue for a reported stabbing. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a person with a stab wound.
The victim was transported by the Sacramento Fire Department to a local area hospital. The extent of their injuries was unknown at the time of posting.
The cause of the stabbing is unknown at this time. Sheriff deputies had one person in custody at the scene.
