S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation.
Upon contact, the strong odor of marijuana emanated from inside the vehicle. S-1 initially provided false information about his identity and was detained. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of marijuana and indicia of sales. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.
