SACRAMENTO, CA (Natomas) – Police are investigating the shooting of a 25-year-old male early Friday morning in Natomas.
Officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded around 12:05 early Friday morning to reports of a male that had been shot on Natomas Central Drive near Del Paso Road. When units arrived on scene, they found a 25-year-old male who had been shot in the lower abdomen per police radio traffic.
Officers immediately cordoned off access to the area and began their investigation. Police radio traffic indicated shell casings were located near the scene.
The condition of the victim is unknown at this time as well as his identity. The cause of the shooting is under investigation.
