SACRAMENTO, CA – Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting death of a male early Friday morning in South Sacramento.
Officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 300 block of Vallejo Way for a report of a male who had been shot. When officers arrived on scene, they found a male who had been shot. Fire department personnel responded, however the victim was eventually pronounced deceased on scene.
The cause is under investigation. The name of the victim is unknown until released by the coroner.
