SACRAMENTO, CA – Police and arson investigators are trying to determine who placed a suspicious device inside a car Thursday evening.
Officers with the Sacramento Police Department responded to a call of a suspicious device around 7:25 Thursday evening on the 2200 block of Cormorant Way. Police say the victim parked his vehicle and left it unlocked. For an unknown reason, unidentified suspect(s) placed a suspicious device in the passenger seat of the vehicle, causing damage to the seat.
No injuries were reported and the investigation remains active. Arson investigators with the Sacramento Fire Department were called out to assist in the investigation.
