ELK GROVE, CA – Police are investigating the death of a body found inside a pickup truck in Elk Grove late Friday morning.
Officers from the Elk Grove Police Department responded to the 8700 block of Morning Glory Way around 11:00 Friday morning after a resident reported what appeared to be a body inside a parked Dodge Ram pickup truck.
Officers arrived around found the body of an adult inside the vehicle. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were called out to the scene to investigate.
Police say that no signs of trauma were located.
Update: Sacramento County Coroner has identified the deceased as Daniel Goodman, 47, of Elk Grove.
