SACRAMENTO, CA – Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred Thursday morning near Mesa Verde Park in South Sacramento.
Sacramento Police say around 11:15 Thursday morning, officers responded to a report of someone shot in the 4200 block of Valley Hi Drive.
When officers arrived they found one victim with gun shot wounds after a drive-by shooting. Sacramento Fire responded and transported the victim to a local area hospital.
Officers have located the scene of the crime near Mesa Verde Park at the corner of La Coruna Drive and San Sebastian Way.
There is no suspect description at this time.
