SACRAMENTO, CA – Sacramento Fire crews were dispatched to a reported dumpster fire at the Golden 1 Center currently under construction in Downtown Sacramento on Monday afternoon.
Around 3:15 Monday afternoon, Sacramento Fire responded to the Golden 1 Center for a dumpster fire. Crews arriving on scene found a large construction-style dumpster with flames coming from the top. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
Fire officials say no other structures were damaged and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown at time of posting.
