15-215742 (Bait Bike Arrest): 22nd Ave/ Mendocino Blvd at 0218 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding the theft of an SPD bait bicycle. 32-year-old Ian Simmons was quickly located near 22nd Avenue and Mendocino Boulevard. The man was found in possession of the stolen bike as he attempted to flee in a vehicle. He was arrested for a violation of probation, possession of stolen property, grand theft, and drug possession.
