Sacramento, CA | A vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a home on Sutterville Road early Saturday morning.

Early Saturday morning, a SacCityFire Medic unit was responding to a “medical aid” call according to Jonathan Williams, battalion Chief. When the medic unit arrived they found a vehicle into a residential structure with two people trapped.

Additional fire units and medics were dispatched, the occupants of the vehicles were extricated and transported to the hospital in unknown condition.

The woman inside the structure had been in the kitchen just ten minutes before the vehicle came crashing into it. She was on her way to bed the incident occurred. She had been packing to move in the next few days according to Williams.

Williams stated there was apparent excessive speed involved but unknown if alcohol was a factor.

Sacramento Police Department was on scene investigating.
