Sacramento, CA | A motorcyclist lost his life Saturday night, possibly doing tricks at a high rate of speed on Highway 99.

Late Saturday evening, CSD Fire and Paramedic crews responded to a motorcycle vs vehicle accident on south-bound Highway 99 just north of the Laguna/Bond exit in the number one lane.

When crews arrived they found a motorcyclist ejected from his bike and a white PT Cruiser by the off ramp with rear-end damage.  Rescue crews attempted to revive the motorcyclist however he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was apparently traveling at a high rate of speed doing tricks when he lost control and crashed in the back end of the PT Cruiser.

There were no other injuries in the incident.
