Sacramento, CA | Police announce the arrest of a suspect in an East Sacramento apartment complex homicide.

Wednesday, the Sacramento Police Department announced that an arrest has been made in the murder case of Tralane Thomas. The incident took place Monday night at 7:08PM according to the Sacramento Police Department. 

Allegedly Thomas engaged in a narcotics deal with Jazz Curry, age 20. At some point in the deal, Curry shot and killed Thomas in the parking lot of the Woodlake Village Apartments on Bicentennial Circle.

Tuesday morning, a full scale SWAT operation commenced at the apartment complex complete with armored vehicles. The complex was locked down with no one permitted to enter, only leave after their vehicle had been searched.

In the course of the SWAT operation, three “persons of interest” were detained from an apartment without incident according to Sargent Andrew Pettit, Spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department. Curry was one of the three detained.
