Sacramento, CA | Fugitive wanted by US Marshals and parolee at large apprehended after brief pursuit, crash and search.
A K9 officer spotted known and wanted federal fugitive, Daniel Kapustin, Monday morning in the Arden-Arcade area. Sacramento Sheriff Sergeant, Mike Rogers stated that a brief pursuit took place.
The fugitive’s vehicle, possibly stolen, departed the roadway and crashing into a gas station at the corner of Fulton and Hurley.
The suspect fled the vehicle and went over a fence into an apartment complex on the west side of the gas station. The suspect was ultimately located by K9 in an apartment attic and taken into custody without further incident.
