Sacramento, CA | Early Friday morning, calls came in for trucks burning in the U-Haul lot on the corner of Franklin Blvd at Broadway.

When firefighters arrived on scene Friday morning, they found several U-Haul trucks on fire with the blaze growing.

In all, Sacramento Fire Department stated that five trucks were effected in all and two of the five were a total loss.

Firefighters didn’t waste time getting on scene and getting the blaze under control. While some firefighters contained that blaze, another team broke out a window on the office, made entry and obtained the keys for the trucks. They then pulled the trucks close to the fire out of the way to save them from being burned.

A couple passing by stated as they saw the blaze grow they notice a gas can sitting under one of the rigs.

A fire investigator was called to the seen and the incident is under investigation.
