South Natomas, Sacramento, CA | Two brothers shot in a strip mall parking lot. One dead on scene, the other transported to hospital in unknown condition.

At 4:45 Thursday evening, per Sgt. Norm Leong, Public Information Officer for the Sacramento Police Department, after receiving several 911 calls, officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting in the area of Northgate Boulevard and San Juan Road.

Per Leong, they believe the two suspects, driving a light blue truck, met up with the victims and had some sort of conversation in the parking lot. While the victims were sitting in the car, the suspects opened fire then fled the scene.

When officers arrived, they found one victim deceased. The other victim was transported to the hospital with injuries believed to be non life threatening. The victims are believed to be brothers per Leong.

Leong stated that currently the motive for the shooting is unknown.

The suspects are described as a male White and a male possibly of Pacific Island decent, both with short hair. The suspects were in a light blue smaller truck.
