Sacramento, CA | A pedestrian crossing Arden way is struck by a vehicle in the rain Thursday evening.
Just before ten PM Thursday evening, authorities received a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Arden way. When officer arrived, per radio traffic, the pedestrian was in very bad shape and barely breathing. When paramedics arrived they treated the pedestrian and transported him via ambulance to the hospital rapidly in critical condition under CPR per radio reports.
The incident was originally reported as a hit run, however SacPD indicated that the driver did in fact stop. At last report, the pedestrian was still in critical condition.
