Sacramento, CA | Semi Truck crashes on Business 80 West, goes off the embankment and lands on its side on Hwy 160 below. While an officer was attempting to clear an initial accident from Business 80 west, a semi truck driver hit another vehicle which hit more vehicles while trying to avoid the initial incident.
The semi truck crashed through the guard rail, lost its trailer real wheels on the embankment and landed on its side on Hwy 160 below. The trucks load of powdered milk was dumped all over the roadway. Hwy 160 remained closed for several hours.
There were only minor injuries and the driver of the truck escaped unscathed.
