WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A deceased person was found in a body of water in West Sacramento.
Around 2:45 p.m. Saturday, West Sacramento police officers responded to the area of South River Road and the McGowen Bridge near Village Parkway. Upon arrival, officers found what appeared to be a deceased person floating in the water nearby. Paramedics responded and declared the person to be deceased.
Detectives, Crime Scene Investigators, and the Coroner’s Office responded and started their investigation.
At the time of posting, the police department is only saying the body is considered “suspicious”.
