SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sheriff’s detectives are investigating after a bank was robbed late this morning.

Around 11:00 a.m. Monday, deputies from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department responded to the U.S. Bank branch at 5450 Dewey Drive for a reported robbery that just occurred. The branch is located inside a Safeway grocery store.

When deputies arrived, they confirmed that a robbery had happened. The Sheriff’s department was unable to provide any further details due to the active investigation.
