17-287392 (Attempted Robbery): 5100 block of Mack Rd at 7:34pm
Officers responded to a call of an attempted robbery. The complainant reported that he was with a girl he had met at the grocery store and while they were watching TV, she pepper sprayed him and tried to steal his wallet. He tackled her as she tried to flee and fought to get his wallet back. While they were struggling a male adult entered the apartment and attacked him. Both suspects fled in a brown sedan. A report was generated and the investigation remains active.
