17-286463 (Shooting): 4300 block of Stockton Blvd at 9:52pm
The victim and her friend were at a market in the area when a male walked up to them, pulled out a handgun and pointed it at them. The females got into their vehicle and drove away. As they were driving away, they heard gunshots in the immediate area. When they got to their destination, they observed bullet holes in the back of their vehicle. Officers responded to the area, and located the suspect at a nearby restaurant. The suspect was positively identified as the suspect who approached the females. A search was conducted of the man’s vehicle and officers located a loaded handgun in the truck of the vehicle. The suspect was booked on assault, DUI and weapons related charges.
