Three Children Found Dead, Suspect Search Under

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A homicide investigation is underway in West Sacramento.

West Sacramento police officers responded to the Timbers Apartments at 250 Touchstone Place around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday for a domestic violence call.

When officers arrived, they found three children dead inside an apartment and an adult female victim suffering from injuries. The type of injury to the female was not immediately known.

The suspect, Roger Hodges, the husband of the injured female, fled the scene so detectives issued a “be on the lookout” message statewide to other law enforcement agencies.

Around 12:15 a.m. Thursday, a law enforcement agency found the Hodge’s vehicle on eastbound Interstate 80 near Reed Avenue. Hodges was stopped and taken into custody without incident.

This is a developing story; more information will be updated as it is available.
