Police Investigate Shooting In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Police officers are investigating a shooting in the Valley Hi/North Laguna neighborhood of Sacramento.

Around 9:45 p.m. Thursday, Sacramento police officers responded to reports of a shooting that just occurred on the 3800 block of Deer Run Way.

When officers arrived, they found a male adult victim who said he had been shot. The victim was transported by paramedic ambulance to a local trauma center for treatment. The severity of his injuries was not immediately known.
