SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. – A large grass fire is burning in the Vineyard area of Sacramento County.
At 3:25 p.m., Metro Fire responded to multiple reports of a grass fire in the area of Gerber Road and Bradshaw Road.
When crews arrived, they found a large fire burning in a field. Some structures are reported to be threatened.
Per fire department radio traffic, Metro Fire’s Copter 1 is reporting the fire is 40-50 acres.
