17-241216 (Suspicious Subjects): 1300 block of G St at 11:40pm
Officers were dispatched to the area regarding two subjects in the alley who were causing a disturbance and also possibly casing. Officers arrived and contacted the two men. One of the suspects had a glass meth pipe in his fist and refused to follow officer’s commands. He became non-compliant and resistive when officers attempted to physically detain him. Officers began to struggle with the suspect and called for additional units to assist. During the struggle, the suspect attempted to take the officers firearm from the holster. While detaining this suspect, the other subject fled the scene. The suspect was arrested and booked for narcotics paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and attempting to remove or take officer’s firearm.
