CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. – Firefighters extinguished a garage fire inside a Citrus Heights home.
Firefighters were dispatched to the home on Somersworth Drive near Van Maren Lane in Citrus Heights just after 12:20 Tuesday afternoon.
When units arrived, they advised of light smoke showing from the garage. All occupants were reported to be out of the home. After further investigation firefighters located the fire inside a small bedroom built inside the garage. The fire was extinguished a short time later and held to the garage.
